My Aunt's Haunted House My Aunt has a big old mansion, last year I went to stay there for the weekend along with my best friend Scott. It was a long trip there and when we finally arrived we were worn out and being so tired we fell asleep about an hour later. The next morning I woke up and then woke up Scott, we went down stairs and into the kitchen to find my Aunt with her back to us. She was talking to someone but there was nobody there, my Aunt is not elderly, she has no pets or anyone else living in this mansion and she was definitely not talking to us, and neither is she eccentric, (she didn't know we were there). Her words were somewhat along the lines of this. "SSSSSSHHHH, you'll wake them up, and you had better behave yourself while I'm at work." Scott and I just thought she was a bit weird, but what we didn't remember was that before we had left home, my other Aunt was telling me that her house is very old and spooky. Anyway, my Aunt left for work about an hour later and we were left on our own. Scott switched on the T.V, and almost immediately we heard a loud thud from the 2nd floor. We went out to the hallway together and started to walk up the stairs, there was a faint hissing sound and we could hear footsteps from the main bedroom, the footsteps were really quiet, it was obvious that a child or something small must have been making them. Knowing we were alone in the place, It took us a while to get the courage to take a look, but when we finally did, the room was empty. The windows were closed tightly and was too high for anybody to get in, but the curtains which was open, was blowing violently, there was no draft and there was no way the wind could have come from the window. The curtains stopped moving and we could hear whispers and giggling, we quickly moved downstairs and played soccer out in the back garden until my Aunt got home. We went home later that day because understandably we would not stay another night. When we got home I told my mum what happened (my aunt is my mothers sister). My mother said that it was strange, because about 4 years before I was born, my Aunt had a child which died when she was 2 years old, and when I spoke to my other Aunt, she said that she had heard similar things when she stayed there as well. My friend Scott said he would never visit that place again. That is the only "Ghost" experience I have ever had.
