My Haunted Farmhouse ?
My house is a Grade 2 listed farmhouse dating
back 400 years, the room the picture was taken in was the last
edition to the house - early Victorian. I have lived here for 12
years and have always felt comfortable and likewise my pets and most
of my friends. However we have always noticed that the room the
submitted pic was taken in was very very cold even when central
heating was installed but I have never felt threatened. However on
three separate occasions 3 separate people have sworn to have seen
and felt something that has made them feel threatened, they all say
they saw an elderly lady standing behind me and that she did not like
them, funny because I myself was not overkeen on them. I have always
kept an open mind on this as I know people’s imagination can run
riot in old houses.
On the occasion that this photo was taken, I
had had an accident and was feeling low and very vulnerable, I do not
know if this relates to anything. The picture was taken from standing
at the doorway just inside the room. After looking at the preview, we
noticed the 'orb' so we took the picture again same position and
there was nothing there.
As I have stated I always keep an open mind
however my friend Jackie is a firm believer she noticed more static
atmosphere than normal which caused my lights to flicker and lights
bulbs to go wherever I went. Also anything electrical I touched for a
few days went haywire i.e. calculator, computer, digital camera,
electrical heaters all decided not to work for me, I do not know if
this relates to anything or was a pure coincidence.
The photograph was taken with a Kodak dc240
zoom camera at approx 1pm, the person who took the picture has short
hair and there was no strap on the camera. The weather was overcast
no flash was needed as the camera was set to automatic.
I would like to know if anyone can shed any
light on this as I am mystified to what it is or could be, I would
like to add that when I saw the photograph I was in awe of it and
thought how beautiful and pure it was.
