Readers Stories Crematorium Apparition I just wanted to relate an experience I had after my father died over 25 years ago. It's really a simple story but I really believe I saw him about two weeks later. My wife and I, my brother and his wife had gone to put some flowers on my father's resting-place at the Crematorium. As we started to walk toward the place where his ashes had been scattered, we noticed there was a man sitting on the bench next to where we were heading. We all stopped and looked at each other without saying a word, as we were so startled, for the man was wearing the same overcoat and glasses as my father wore when alive. From that day to this we all still believe that the man sitting on the bench was my father. As we approached, he got up off the bench and walked towards and past us and disappeared. After a few minutes when we got over the shock, we searched all around the Crematorium but could not find him. There was no way he would have had time to leave the Crematorium.
