To observe, collect and record evidence of what
happens, how it happens and the conditions under which it happens. For

What is the point of your research?
We endeavour to find the truth about this type
of activity, what is it, why does it happen and how does it come about.

Why do you do it?
a) This type of activity is as yet, beyond the
knowledge of conventional science.
b) Meeting the challenge of exploring the unknown.
c) It's interesting.

Do you find what you do scary?
We haven't had any 'blowouts' in our trainers
as yet!

We do not accept members into GWUK, however it

What exactly is a ghost?
No one knows. There are many theories but as
yet no actual absolute evidence that can convince the scientific
establishment. Without doubt there is enough for them to explore if
they chose to, but to do so would mean opening their mind and
accepting that some of the present held laws and beliefs of the
scientific establishment may be wrong.

After a vigil, can a poltergeist follow you home?
It is possible but unlikely.

Do you take a bible, cross or both on vigils?
No, what's the point? How would we know what
faith the spirit had when on this earth before death? Was it
Christian or Atheist? Would it be the Bible or Koran? Self discipline
and strength of character is your best protection.

Do you ever use a Ouija Board on vigils?
NO, AND WE NEVER WILL. Be warned; DO NOT EVER
use these yourself, to do so can be very dangerous, it can open the
door to let some very nasty unwelcome entities into your home. Once
in they can lay dormant for a long period, waiting for the right set
of circumstances to generate them.

Do you use mediums or psychics?
Sometimes, but not in the early stages of an investigation.

Do you get rid of ghosts?
No, that is not within our field of expertise
but we know of specialists who can perform this service. Sometimes
exorcising can increase activity and make it worse.
