Ghost Watch UK

About Us

Ghost Watch UK originated from a small group of people who became interested in the paranormal and formed in September 1959. Our founding member, who is also our present Director of Operations, first became interested in researching and investigating the paranormal after experiencing unexplained phenomena on several occasions. However the real motivation to start on the path to investigating the paranormal was the incident of Willie and the coal-bunker. Click here

Our present day team consists of dedicated individuals from diverse backgrounds such as Scientific, Building, Business, Photography, Genealogy and Electronics. All are well versed and experienced in researching and investigating paranormal activity.

Our main operational area is London and the South of England. Although based in the Greater London area we do investigate reports of haunting from all over the UK.

All investigations are taken very seriously and conducted in a highly professional way, confidentiality is assured and strictly abided by. It is the policy of GWUK not to charge any fees for our work; we do however welcome any voluntary contribution to help with petrol, new batteries and upkeep of the equipment we use.

We do not take members of the general public on investigations. We are however always willing to take with us on certain occasion's not more than one trainee to learn the ropes, providing they are suitable and have the right temperament for the job in hand.

Anyone who shares an interest in the paranormal is always welcome to become an associate member of Ghost Watch UK. Those who are interested in learning more about investigating and research will be given whatever help we can give, and for those who would like to form their own group we will help you with that too.

Any established investigative group or organization would be most welcome to become part of our friends and associate group. Establishing associated groups on a nation wide basis enables us to refer anyone who is experiencing paranormal problems to get help from an operational group within their area. Additionally a forum is open for us all to interchange ideas and any new methods of approach to our work, also to discuss any problems that may be encountered and generally swap ideas.
