A car possessed?

It was one evening in September 1955 that two famous film actors met up for dinner, they were James Dean and Alec Guinness, during the course of the evening James Dean Showed Alec Guinness his brand new car, a Porsche 550 Spyder. Allegedly upon seeing the car, Alec Guinness had a premonition that Dean would be found dead within a week if he drove it. Upon hearing this Dean laughed and Guinness apologised for making such a comment. On the 30th September 1955 James Dean was involved in a horrendous head on collision with a black and white ford sedan which crushed the Porsche and claimed his life.

A George Barris who intended it to be used for spare parts purchased the wrecked Porsche. Upon delivery of the wreck it slipped off the transporter falling on a mechanic, crushing his legs.

A Dr Troy McHenry bought the drive train from the crashed Porsche; the first time he raced he spun out of control and lost his life. Dr William Eschrid bought the engine and on the first race after fitting the spare part he almost lost his life when without warning the car overturned. A sports car enthusiast purchased the two undamaged wheels from the wreck and fitted them to his own car, suddenly and without warning they both burst at the same time, sending his car skidding out of control into a ditch almost killing him.

A garage housing the wrecked Deans Porsche caught fire and was burned to the ground destroying all the other cars inside except for the wreck of the spyder. After this the ill-fated wreck was transported to Salinas but during the journey the truck went out of control, the driver was thrown clear but died moments later when the wreck of the spyder broke loose and fell on him crushing him to death.

Finally in 1960 the wreck of the Porsche was sent to Los Angeles, it never arrived - just vanished, presumably stolen en-route. Were the events that happened just coincidence, or could the car have been possessed by some strange power other than the engine?
